You can now open and review more file types directly inside your CRM’s media library, which makes it easier to check documents, listen to audio, and inspect files without stopping to download them first.
📌 Why This Matters
When you need to quickly confirm an invoice, review a proposal, check a spreadsheet, or listen to an audio file, extra downloads slow you down. Being able to preview files right inside your CRM helps you find what you need faster, stay organized, and keep your daily work moving.
✨ What’s New
- PDF previews: Open PDFs in the browser, move between pages, zoom in or out, jump to specific pages, and highlight or copy text.
- Word document previews: Review .docx files with formatting, page layout, headers, and footers visible.
- Spreadsheet previews: Open Excel and CSV files with worksheet tabs and clear column headers for faster review.
- Audio playback: Listen to supported audio files like MP3, WAV, OGG, and M4A directly in the browser.
- 3D file viewing: Interact with supported 3D models using rotation controls, wireframe mode, and camera reset options.
- Text and code previews: View JSON, CSS, plain text, and other text-based files with readable formatting and syntax highlighting.
- Helpful preview notices: If a file is too large or unsupported, the system will clearly let you know and give you the option to download it instead.

🛠️ How to Use It
- Step 1: Open your media library and select the file you want to inspect, or choose the preview option from the file menu.
- Step 2: The CRM will automatically open the right viewer based on the file type.
- Step 3: Review the file directly in the browser instead of downloading it first.
- Step 4: If the file is too large to preview, use the download option shown in the notice.
Preview size limits apply to keep performance smooth:
- PDF: up to 50 MB
- Word: up to 15 MB
- Excel/CSV: up to 15 MB
- 3D models: up to 50 MB
- Text files: up to 5 MB
- Audio files: up to 100 MB
- Spreadsheet preview limit: up to 1,000 rows and 100 columns per worksheet
If a file goes beyond these limits, you’ll see a message explaining that it is too large to preview. Some unsupported file types, such as PowerPoint files, ZIP files, font files, and older Word documents, will show a preview not available message.
💡 Pro Tip
Use file preview to quickly verify contracts, pricing sheets, recordings, and reports before sending them to customers or your team, which can help you avoid delays and keep sales moving.
