If you sell online through your CRM, deleting an old or unused store should not put your entire website at risk. This update makes store deletion much safer by removing only store-related pages while keeping your main website pages, like your homepage and about page, untouched.
π Why This Matters
For small business owners, your website is often your digital storefront. A simple mistake during cleanup can lead to lost pages, broken customer journeys, and time spent rebuilding content. With this improved behavior, you can remove a store you no longer need without worrying about accidentally wiping out the rest of your site.
This gives you more confidence when managing seasonal shops, test stores, or outdated product setups inside your CRM.
β¨ Whatβs New
- Store deletion is now limited to store pages: When you delete a store, only store-related pages are removed, such as the product list, product details, cart, checkout, and thank you pages.
- Your main website stays intact: Core website pages like Home, About, and other standard pages will remain unchanged.
- Same behavior everywhere: Whether you delete the store from the Stores area or from Store Settings, the result is the same and more predictable.
- Clearer confirmation messages: The delete prompt now explains more clearly what will be removed, helping reduce confusion and accidental data loss.
- Website deletion still works separately: If you choose to delete an entire website from the Websites section, that action will still remove the full site, including any store pages connected to it.

π οΈ How to Use It
- Step 1: Go to the Stores section and choose the store you want to remove.
- Step 2: Open the three-dot menu or enter the store settings.
- Step 3: Click Delete Store.
- Step 4: Type DELETE in the confirmation box and complete the action.
- Step 5: If your goal is to remove the entire website instead, use the Delete Website option from Website Settings.
π‘ Pro Tip
Before deleting an old store, review whether any active links, ads, or customer emails still point to those store pages so you do not lose sales from broken customer paths.
