Your CRM dashboard should help you make quick decisions, not make you second-guess the numbers. With this update, you can control whether an increase or a decrease in a widget is treated as positive, so your trend colors match what actually matters in your business.
📌 Why This Matters
Not every metric should be judged the same way. If your sales go up, that is usually a good sign. But if your unsubscribe rate, bounce rate, churn, or cost per lead goes up, that is not good. This setting helps your dashboard reflect reality, so green means good and red means something needs attention.
It also makes your reports easier to read at a glance across number, line, and bar widgets whenever a comparison date range is being used.
✨ What’s New
- Custom trend direction: You can choose whether an increase or a decrease should be shown as positive for each widget.
- Clearer visual signals: Trend badges now make more sense for metrics where lower numbers are better, like bounce rate or cost per lead.
- Works across widget views: The trend badge appears consistently across number, line, and bar chart views when a comparison date range is set.
- No surprise changes: Existing widgets still default to Increase is positive unless you update the setting yourself.

🛠️ How to Use It
- Step 1: Open the widget’s Configure panel in your dashboard or custom report.
- Step 2: Go to the Advanced settings section.
- Step 3: Set your Date range override and Comparison date range.
- Step 4: Choose whether Increase is positive or Decrease is positive based on the metric you are tracking.
- Step 5: Save your changes and review the trend badge color across the widget.
💡 Pro Tip
Set cost-related and retention-related metrics to Decrease is positive so you can spot money-saving wins and warning signs faster during your weekly review.
