Keeping track of invoices associated with specific deals can often be a challenge. This new feature helps you stay organized by automatically linking invoices to their related opportunities, making it simple to monitor your earning potential and track your financials without the hassle of manual updates.
✨ What’s New
- Seamless Auto-Linking: Every invoice you create from an opportunity’s payments section is instantly linked back to that opportunity, so you always know which deal it corresponds to.
- On-Screen Linking Option: When creating an invoice from the payments tab, you can easily link it to the correct opportunity with just a checkbox.
- Fully Automated via Workflows: Set up workflows that automatically create, send, and link invoices to opportunities without any extra steps needed from you.

🛠️ How to Use It

- Via Opportunities: Open an Opportunity, select Payments, go to the Actions menu, and click on Create Invoice.

- You’ll be taken to the invoice screen where the Opportunity is already linked.

- Via Invoices: Navigate to the Payments tab, select Invoices from the dropdown, and click Create Invoice.

- In the invoice builder, simply check the Link Opportunity box, choose the deal, and then either Save or Send.
- Via Workflows: Set up a workflow that triggers on an Opportunity event (like Status or Stage Change) and add a Send Invoice action. This will automatically handle the creation, sending, and linking of the invoice for you!
For easy access, you can view all your invoices linked to the opportunity directly in the Opportunity’s Payments tab.
