Managing an online community can feel overwhelming, especially when you want to keep conversations organized and accessible. These improvements are designed to give you more control and flexibility so you can focus on engaging with your members instead of technical hassles.
📌 Why This Matters
Running a community group means balancing privacy with openness. Sometimes you want certain discussions to be restricted, other times you want them visible to everyone. Having the ability to easily switch channels from private to public (and vice versa), and move posts where they make the most sense, reduces confusion and keeps your community tidy and focused.
✨ What’s New
- Convert Private Channels back to Public Channels: If you’ve made a channel private but want to open it back up, you can now simply change it back to public. This makes it easier to adjust your community structure as your group grows or changes.
- Move Posts to Private Channels: Admins and post authors can now move posts not only between public channels but also into private ones they have access to. This helps you organize discussions exactly where they belong without losing valuable content.

🛠️ How to Use It
- Change a Channel to Public: Navigate to the channel’s settings, go to the settings tab, and select the option to make the channel public again.
- Move a Post to Another Channel: When moving a post, the system will now show private channels you have access to, in addition to public channels. Simply choose the target channel to relocate your post.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip
Keeping your community well organized by adjusting channel privacy and post locations helps members find conversations easily, encourages participation, and ultimately supports stronger connections — which can lead to better customer loyalty and sales.
