Managing customer conversations is easier when your WhatsApp messages live inside your CRM. You can now choose the setup path that fits your business best: connect your current WhatsApp Business App, create a new WhatsApp Business Account, or move over from another provider without giving up your phone number, templates, or message history.
π Why This Matters
Many small business owners run into one of three common problems: they already use WhatsApp on their phone and want those chats inside their CRM, they need a fresh business setup with a dedicated number, or they want to switch providers without losing important assets. This update makes each option much more straightforward, so you can keep serving customers without interruption.
- Keep what you already have: Bring over your phone number, approved templates, display name, quality rating, messaging limits, and official business status when eligible.
- Stay connected to customers: If you already use the WhatsApp Business App, you can keep using it on your phone while also managing conversations inside the CRM.
- Start faster: If you do not have a dedicated business number yet, eligible accounts may be able to claim a 555 business number during setup.
- Avoid downtime: Moving from another provider can be done without the usual delays and back-and-forth.
β¨ Whatβs New
- Three setup options: Choose the path that matches your business: connect your existing WhatsApp Business App, create a new WhatsApp Business Account, or migrate from another provider.
- Move from another provider: If your WhatsApp account is with another provider, you can transfer it into the CRM while keeping important business assets intact.
- Chat history sync: When connecting your existing WhatsApp Business App, up to 6 months of chat history can sync into the CRM automatically.
